One of the major announcements at E309 is Project Natal (Nope, this is not a major deployment in marketing strategy to Durban). Now this really captured my imagination.

Since for some silly reason the Microsoft stream is useless on the Xbox Website, I’ve had to resort to finding a decent summary on YouTube of the announcements Xbox (Microsoft) made on day 1 of E309.

They seem to be:

  1. Full Xbox game downloads
Oh happy days, SA’s bandwidth caps/speeds & Xbox small HDRs will be a lovely combo, but thins are improving on both counts.
  2. Project Natal
Full 3D Motion Capture – this sounds interesting, and if they manage to get it to work RIGHT, the possibilities are endless.
  3. Twitter, Facebook & Last.fm integration
I use all three of these, so goodie!
  4. Better Netflix downloads
Who uses them here in SA?

Seems we’re still not going to get a friggin browser! C’mon!!

Ok, this guy is a bit boring, and his backdrop can really do with some colour, but here goes.
